What You Will Do
CSR will engage the public in person and by phone on behalf of the agency, addressing their needs while providing good customer service. They will also support staff by performing clerical duties such as typing correspondence, making copies, contacting clients and any other similar tasks as requested.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Greet the public in person and on the telephone in a professional and hospitable manner; provide general information, answer questions and direct individuals to the appropriate party as necessary.
- Provide support to clients by communicating Pawnee’s payment policies and collecting payments, verifying demographic information, obtaining required paperwork, setting up for Zoom appointments, cancelling/scheduling appointments and ensuring all questions or concerns are directed to the appropriate staff.
- Monitor clients in the waiting areas and report any concerns to Office Supervisor.
- Balance the cash receipts as scheduled. Report variances to Office Supervisor.
- Perform general clerical duties such as typing correspondence, processing mail, photocopying and scanning documents, reviewing the next day’s schedule and prepare the required paperwork for each client, scheduling meeting rooms and company cars, and scheduling contractors as either required for assigned office or upon request.
- Cooperate as an active member of the support staff team and participate in cross training to help control fluctuating workloads or staff shortages. This may include temporary assignment to other agency offices, within reason.
- Maintain and advance personal knowledge and skills related specifically to position or to field of work by regular reviewing pertinent materials or participating in training events as approved by supervisor.
- Adhere to the standards, policies and instructions established by PMHS Policy and Procedure and any applicable ethical codes within field of employment.
- Review and comply with the Pawnee Code of Conduct outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or other management personnel.
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills using the English language
Preferred:
- Multi-lingual skills
- Previous clerical experience and/or experience managing a multi-line phone system
- Experience using Microsoft Office
