POSITION SUMMARY:

The HR Data Analytics & Reporting Analyst is a Human Resources-based role with a primary focus on workforce data analysis, HR metrics, and strategic reporting. This position serves as a critical link between people data and organizational decision-making, requiring a highly analytical professional who thrives in a metrics-driven environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced with enterprise systems, and capable of building robust reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to HR leadership and global stakeholders. In addition to core data responsibilities, this role supports the processing of HR-related invoices in collaboration with the Finance/FI department.

A key responsibility of this role is the preparation and delivery of detailed HR metrics and reporting packages to the company’s headquarters in Seoul, South Korea. This includes both routine reporting on a scheduled basis (weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly) and ad hoc reports requested by HQ leadership. Reports must be precise, professionally formatted, and presented in a manner that meets the expectations of a global corporate audience. The ability to communicate complex data clearly and accurately in a cross-cultural, international business environment is essential.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


HR Data Analytics & Reporting:

  • Design, develop, and maintain HR dashboards and reports covering headcount, turnover, hiring trends, compensation, and workforce metrics
  • Collect, clean, and analyze HR data from multiple sources including HRIS, payroll, and applicant tracking systems
  • Partner with HR leadership to identify data needs and translate them into actionable reporting solutions
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to support strategic HR initiatives including workforce planning, variety of HR related reporting.
  • Maintain data integrity across HR systems; identify and resolve data discrepancies
  • Prepare recurring and special request reports for senior leadership, audits, and compliance purposes

HR Invoice Processing:

  • Process HR-related invoices including medical, dental, and vision coverage accurately and in a timely manner
  • Verify invoice amounts against enrollment data and benefit carrier agreements; flag and resolve discrepancies
  • Coordinate with benefit carriers and the Finance/FI department to ensure proper coding, approvals, and payment processing
  • Maintain accurate records of benefits-related invoices and support audit requests as needed

Systems & Process Improvement:

  • Leverage SAP to process transactions, generate reports, and support system-related inquiries
  • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, macros, charts) to build and maintain reporting tools
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and improve efficiency
  • Document procedures and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for HR reporting and invoice processing functions

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above, tasks relating to the following area will be assigned as required.

  • Be a team player.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, and data visualization
  • Experience developing and presenting reports and dashboards for leadership audiences
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines consistently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights
  • High degree of confidentiality, integrity, and professional judgment when handling sensitive HR and financial data

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior SAP experience (FI, MM, HCM, or SuccessFactors modules) strongly preferred
  • Experience with HRIS platforms such as Workday, ADP, Paylocity, or similar
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools
  • Familiarity with benefits administration and HR invoice/billing processes
  • Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or corporate environments

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR analytics, workforce reporting, or a data-intensive HR role

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Position requires occasional or frequent moderate physical activity.


EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

  • A typical work week is 45 hours/week.
  • Working hours for employees are flexible with a typical day starting 7am- 9am M-F.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Office work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements.
  • Stress may occur periodically.

  • Occasional international travel
  • Frequent local travel
