The Web Product Specialist serves as the strategic lead for enterprise-level eCommerce programs, partnering directly with high-visibility clients to deliver scalable, high-performing digital storefronts. This role translates business goals into technical solutions, proactively recommends enhancements that improve user experience, visibility, and conversion, and ensures seamless execution of promotions, integrations, and ongoing site optimizations. 


As a web authority on the account team, this individual will drive eCommerce strategy, identify growth opportunities, manage cross-functional collaboration, and ensure operational excellence across all web initiatives. The ideal candidate is client-facing, solution-oriented, analytically minded, and confident navigating both technical requirements and business strategy while keeping complex programs running smoothly. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead complex, high-value eCommerce projects with minimal supervision. 
  • Partner with clients to develop multi-year roadmaps and recommend strategic enhancements. 
  • Create and implement scalable eCommerce solutions to optimize workflows and business processes. 
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in eCommerce integrations and technical solutions. 
  • Mentor Web Product Specialists and Coordinators, providing guidance and professional development. 
  • Drive innovation by identifying and implementing emerging eCommerce technologies. 
  • Escalate and resolve high-impact issues while maintaining client satisfaction. 
  • Represent the team in cross-functional meetings and client presentations, providing thought leadership. 
  • Develop roadmaps for an eCommerce store and understand the integration into a larger strategy. 
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience working with eCommerce solutions, project management, client success, or related experience 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both oral and written form. 
  • Experience in a client-facing role is required. 
  • Understands and can align technology or enhance business processes. 
  • General knowledge of eCommerce solutions, practices, and back-office ERP integration. 
  • Thinks systemically with the ability to balance future roadmap strategy with current tactical execution. 
  • Demonstrates knowledge on technical topics, such as APIs, data transfer, scalability, SSO, and procurement integration. 
  • Demonstrate ability to influence, using research, eCommerce best practices, and data. 
  • Detail oriented, strong organizational skills, and the ability to deliver under deadlines with a high level of accuracy. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in communications, business or a related field

  • Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring or managing junior team members. 
  • Advanced expertise in eCommerce platforms, ERP integration, and technical implementation. 
  • Exceptional communication skills for influencing clients and internal stakeholders. 
  • Strong ability to balance long-term strategy with operational execution. 

Compensation: The estimated salary range for this position is between $65,000 - $80,000 annually. Please note that this pay range serves as a general guideline and reflects a broad spectrum of labor markets across the US. While it is uncommon for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the range, compensation decisions are influenced by various factors. At HALO, these include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, location, education and training, key skills, internal equity, external market data, and broader market and business considerations.
