Description
The Nurse Practitioner will:
- Participate in the development and implementation of behavioral health interventions in a hospital setting to individuals and groups where applicable.
- Provide behavioral health consultation to all collaborating providers, including but not limited to primary care providers, emergency room providers, care coordinators, nursing staff, hospitalists and fellow behavioral health providers.
- Provide documentation and accurate information in the Electronic Medical Records system.
- Serve as a member of the multidisciplinary behavioral team, with set responsibilities.
- Participate in case reviews and clinical supervision.
Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in psychiatry from an accredited school of nursing
- Two (2) years’ experience in a hospital or clinical setting
- Vermont Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in Psychiatry
- New Hampshire APRN in Psychiatry (preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Experience with electronic medical record systems.
Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $75.00 per hour. The hourly rate reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
