CMS Imaging is seeking a Project Manager to join our Southeast team supporting the sales and service of medical imaging equipment projects.

Founded in 1987 in Charleston, SC as an independent service organization, CMS Imaging has expanded its product line to include MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Digital X-Ray, and Advanced Fluoroscopic systems. Software solutions including PACS and Vendor Neutral Archives (VNA) are also available to enable customers to display, manage, and store imaging data.

The Project Manager oversees customer installation projects from order receipt through final completion, ensuring accurate room drawings, coordinated communication, and timely execution. This role works closely with Account Managers, Service Operations Managers, and customers to maintain project alignment and ensure all requirements are met. The Project Manager maintains documentation, updates project guidelines, and provides consistent communication across internal teams to support successful installations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage all project workflows in accordance with CMS Imaging’s project management guidelines.
- Coordinate room drawings, approvals, and final documentation.
- Serve as the primary communication link between customers, Sales, and Service Operations.
- Conduct project kickoff calls and manage project handoffs.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, guidelines, and checklists.
- Provide timely updates and reporting to management.
- Participate in weekly project review calls.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
A. Project / Operational Execution
- Perform all duties of project management based on CMS Imaging’s established guidelines.
- Manage project workflows from order receipt through installation completion.
- Coordinate delivery dates and times with the Service Operations Manager and communicate shipment arrival updates.
- Monitor room construction progress and final room checks through the Service Operations Manager.
B. Customer Communication & Coordination
- Integrate with the Account Manager and Service Operations Manager to coordinate upcoming projects and customer communication.
- Conduct project Kickoff Calls with customers to confirm project details, contacts, and next steps.
- Process all project related correspondence with customers throughout installation projects.
- Perform the “Official Hand Off” of the project to the Service Operations Manager and maintain oversight through project completion.
C. Technical / Documentation Requirements
- Perform project management duties involving room drawings.
- Coordinate room drawings with designated service personnel as assigned by the Service Operations Manager.
- Issue final room drawings once preliminary drawings are approved by the customer.
- Create, maintain, and archive the Project Management checklist.
- Continuously update the project guideline as a communication tool for Sales, Service, and other company representatives.
D. Internal Collaboration & Meetings
- Participate in weekly project review calls every Monday and Tuesday morning.
- Provide timely and accurate project information to management per the project management guideline.
- Maintain consistent communication with Sales, Service Operations, and internal stakeholders.

Job Requirements
Education & Training
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
Project management training or certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) preferred.
Technical training or familiarity with imaging equipment or room drawings preferred.
Experience
Experience in project coordination or project management within a technical, service, or installation based environment.
Experience working cross functionally with Sales, Service, and Operations teams.
Customer facing communication experience required.
Technical Requirements
Ability to read, interpret, and coordinate room drawings.
Proficiency with project management software and documentation systems.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and communication platforms.
Ability to learn CMS Imaging systems and workflows.
