POSITION SUMMARY

An Architectural Project Manager leads work on small or large projects. This includes proactively coordinating with other consultants and permitting officials with successful results. Creates interior and exterior details with a demonstrated knowledge in building codes, industry best practices and specifications. Effectively communicates with all levels including the owner, contractor and other stakeholders. A Project Manager may assign tasks and direct the work of Job Captains and Architectural Associates. 


Requirements

EDUCATION

  • Graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related program 
  • May or may not be a licensed architect


EXPERIENCE

  • 10 or more years of industry experience
  • High degree of experience coordinating with other consultants and permitting officials


SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Intermediate to advanced level of competency in AutoCAD and Revit 
  • Microsoft Office proficiency 
  • Adobe Acrobat / Bluebeam proficiency 
  • Self-motivated with a high level of accountability 
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills 
  • Attention to detail and solid understanding of construction means and methods
  • Developing presentation and project management skills


OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Develops work plans, assigns tasks, and directs and reviews the work of Job Captains and Architectural Associates
  • Assist in response to client RFPs including fees and consultant proposals
  • Assist in annual reviews of Job Captains and Architectural Associates
  • Regular travel for site visits, meetings, and to see clients
