The Product Development & Brand Creative Intern supports DEMDACO’s mission to Lift the Spirit by assisting with both product development and visual brand execution. This role is hands-on and creative, focusing on translating product concepts into compelling visual presentations and assets—particularly for national account and retail applications.

The intern will work closely with Product, Sales, and Creative teams to support seasonal product concepts, develop accurate digital product renderings, and build form-fit presentations that place products into realistic retail environments. This position also provides exposure to emerging AI-powered creative tools and modern product workflows.

• Product & Creative Support: Assist Product Development and Creative teams in executing seasonal product concepts and visual assets.
• Digital Rendering & Design: Create and refine digital product renderings using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
• Photo Editing & Optimization: Perform image enhancement, cleanup, resizing, and formatting for presentations and internal use.
• AI-Assisted Creative Workflows: Utilize AI-powered tools to improve image quality, generate variations, and streamline creative and production workflows.
• Form-Fit Presentations: Build digital presentations that accurately place products into retail fixtures and environments for national account reviews.
• Presentation Preparation: Assist in preparing materials for internal product reviews and customer-facing meetings.
• Emerging Tool Adoption: Learn, apply, and help train others on evolving design and visualization tools, including KOW and All3D AI platforms.
• Asset Management: Maintain organized digital files and ensure consistency with DEMDACO brand standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Sales, and Creative teams to ensure alignment from concept through execution. 

Qualifications:

To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, Marketing, or a related field
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (required)
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop for image editing and optimization
• Strong visual composition skills and attention to detail
• Interest in AI-powered creative tools and willingness to learn new platforms
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and share knowledge with others
• Basic understanding of retail environments, merchandising, or product presentation (preferred) 
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
