Description

The Warehouse Picker/Packer supports distribution operations by accurately picking, scanning, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to quality and presentation.

Requirements

· Pick, scan, and pack customer orders accurately using order documentation.

· Select correct box sizes and packaging materials for each order type.

· Pack all shipments with care and attention to presentation for the recipient.

· Enclose required literature and accurately apply stickers and can tops.

· Verify all items against the order sheet prior to shipment.

· Apply correct shipping labels to ensure proper delivery.

· Inspect products to confirm items are free from damage.

· Ship units according to customer and order requirements.

· Perform detailed tasks with minimal errors in a fast-paced environment.

· Meet established standards for accuracy, presentation, and efficiency.

· Work closely with the Distribution Manager to maintain workflow, inventory, and lot control.

· Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area.

· Assist with training other team members as requested.

  

Physical Requirements

· Ability to stand for extended periods.

· Ability to lift and move boxes as required.

· Repetitive bending, reaching, and lifting.

· Ability to work in a warehouse environment.


Work Environment 

· Distribution/warehouse setting.

· Fast-paced environment, especially during peak seasons.

· Team-oriented workplace.


Shift & Compensation

Full-time position.

Pay rate: $13–$14 per hour.


Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (1-hour lunch).

Hours may vary during the off-season.

Overtime, evening, and weekend hours are likely during the peak holiday season (November–December).

Salary Description
