Role Overview:
The Social Content Creator Intern will support the marketing and communications team by developing engaging, high-impact digital content that amplifies our brand and connects with diverse audiences. This role focuses on creating compelling, trend-driven content that drives engagement and visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and publish engaging content across Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Primary focus on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. 
  • Produce reels, short-form videos, and graphic content aligned with current trends and audience interests. 
  • Attend events to capture and produce engaging content.
  • Leverage OpusClip to trim long-form videos into short, engaging social media content.
  • Write compelling captions and support content planning and campaign execution. 
  • Engage with followers by responding to comments and supporting community management. 
  • Monitor performance metrics and optimize content for reach, engagement, and virality. 
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and storytelling strategies that highlight community impact. 
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Current student or recent graduate in Communications, Marketing, Media, or related field. 
  • Demonstrated ability to create reels, graphics, and short-form viral content. 
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and algorithms. 
  • Proficiency with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar. 
  • Strong communication, creativity, and attention to detail. 
  • Portfolio or examples of social media content required. 

Time Commitment:

Approximately 6 hours per day, up to 5 days per week (up to 30 hours total), with flexibility in scheduling based on availability and project needs. Some evening and weekend availability may be required for events. We understand interns may be balancing school, work, and other commitments. This role is designed to be flexible while still providing meaningful, real-world experience.
