Powersports Parts Counterperson

Are you a powersports enthusiast with strong knowledge of parts and accessories? Do you enjoy a fast-paced environment where your help riders find the right components? We are seeking a customer-focused Powersports Parts and Apparel Counterperson to serve as the in-house expert and deliver exceptional service.


Pay will be $40,000-$55,000 which includes salary and/or commission depending on experience.


Responsibilities:

Parts Expertise: Assist customers in selecting the correct parts and accessories, provide expert advice, and recommend performance or style upgrades.

Customer Service: Build strong relationships with riders, mechanics, and enthusiasts by delivering accurate information and resolving issues promptly.

Order & Inventory Management: Manager parts orders, maintain accurate documentation, monitor inventory levels, and coordinate with suppliers.

Inventory Storage: Ensure inventory is stored properly and efficiently within the facility.

Technical Support: Work with service technicians and customers to diagnose parts-related issues, interpret diagrams, and ensure correct part selection and installation.

Upselling: Identify opportunities to recommend additional or complementary products that enhance the riding experience.

Team Collaboration: Partner with service, sales, and dealership staff to provide a seamless customer experience.

Requirements


  • Passion for powersports vehicles (motorcycles, ATVs, dirt bikes, and power equipment).
  • Previous parts counter or retail experience, preferably in powersports.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of parts, accessories, and applications.
  • Familiarity with technical diagrams and parts catalogs.
  • Experience with parts ordering systems and inventory management.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lightspeed experience preferred.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude.

$40,000-$55,000 (salary and/or commission) DOE
