Bilingual, Spanish-Certified Evaluator (Neuropsychologist, Clinical Psychologist, School Psychologist)

Compensation: between 40-60% of Net Collections (Estimated $120-$200 per hour, depending on the type of evaluation and level of experience)

Classification: W-2 Employee or 1099 Independent Contractor Opportunities Available, Part-Time, Hybrid

Hours: Variable

Location: MPG Office & Remote (WFH)

Evaluator Summary

We are seeking a bilingual Spanish-speaking evaluator to conduct comprehensive psychological, neuropsychological, ASD, and psychoeducational assessments for children and adolescents. This role involves managing the full evaluation process—from intake through feedback, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and delivering culturally responsive care to Spanish-speaking families. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in bilingual assessment and experience differentiating language differences from learning or developmental disorders. 


Evaluator Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive bilingual neuropsychological, psychological, ASD, and psychoeducational evaluations 
  • Administer and interpret Spanish-normed and bilingual assessment tools, such as the WISC-V Spanish, Batería IV Woodcock-Muñoz, DAS-II Spanish, and CELF-5 Spanish.
  • Evaluate Spanish-speaking children and adolescents referred for learning, developmental, and neurodevelopmental concerns
  • Prepare bilingual (Spanish/English) reports and communicate findings effectively to families and schools 
  • Complete all components of the evaluation process, including: 
    • Intake interviews 
    • Collaboration with collateral sources (families, schools, providers) 
    • Test administration 
    • Report writing 
    • Feedback sessions with families 
  • Participate in psychology team meetings (biweekly to monthly) as required based on employment classification type
  • Provide testimony for DOE impartial hearings, as needed 
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation 
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary providers to support coordinated care 
  • Ensure adherence to all ethical, regulatory, and organizational standards 


W-2 Employee Compensation & Benefits: 

  • Compensation: up to 40-60% of Net Collections (Estimated $120-$200 per hour, depending on the type of evaluation and level of experience)

  • Full administrative support from leadership, supervisors, peers, and administrators with referrals, scheduling, billing, and other related tasks
  • Testing materials provided and/or purchased as needed
  • Flexibility of a hybrid in-office/remote position if desired. Testing can take place at our Upper West Side and/or Long Island City offices, but indirect work can be completed remotely.

1099 Compensation: 

  • Compensation: up to 50-60% of Net Collections (Estimated $150-$200 per hour, depending on the type of evaluation and level of experience)
  •  Testing materials: The practice will provide access to monolingual and English-normed assessment materials. Evaluators are responsible for supplying any Spanish-normed or bilingual assessment tools required for their evaluations. 
  • Flexibility of a hybrid in-office/remote position if desired. Testing can take place at our Upper West Side and/or Long Island City offices, but indirect work can be completed remotely.
Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Native or near-native Spanish fluency, with the ability to conduct full clinical interviews and provide feedback to families in Spanish.
  • NYS license (or license eligible) as a psychologist or NYS certification as a school psychologist 
  • Workers’ Compensation Insurance (for 1099 Independent Contractors), Malpractice Insurance, and NPI number
  • Experience conducting comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations of students with various learning, attentional and social-emotional challenges.
  • Experience giving first diagnosis of autism and testifying as part of the DOE impartial hearing process.
  • Ability to commute to MPG’s Upper West Side office as needed for evaluations

Preferred Qualifications

  • NYS licensed clinician + Bilingual Extension (Spanish)
  • Board Certification through the ABPP and/or ABPN
  • Experience evaluating students with all levels of autism, using the ADOS
