Engrain builds map-based tech that’s redefining how real estate works. Our interactive, unit-level maps and powerful data integrations help over 1,000 companies—and 20,000 properties—to make smarter decisions, streamline leasing, and deliver better renter experiences. From prospect to renewal, our products give properties a spatial brain and a visual edge when it comes to property marketing and management. And it’s working: our churn rate is just 5%, and we’ve been putting up double-digit growth numbers every year.
We’re not your typical proptech company. We move fast, we stay curious, and we don’t do stale or corporate fluff. Backed by successful Seed and Series A rounds, we’re entering a phase of serious scale.
As the Director of Growth & Revenue Architecture, you will report directly to the CEO to design and deploy the "connective tissue" between our Product, Marketing, Sales, and Partnership teams. Your mission is to architect automated workflows and AI-driven systems that identify and activate demand for Engrain’s mapping products and data. This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role designed to eliminate departmental silos. You will build a production-grade revenue engine that leverages AI-agent orchestration and hyper-automation to turn ecosystem signals into measurable growth.
What you'll do...
- Systems Architecture: Design and deploy AI-driven automation and RevOps systems across the entire buyer’s lifecycle—from initial intent signal to product adoption and expansion.
- Demand Signal Orchestration: Build automated mechanisms to detect when prospects and partners are ready to adopt Engrain’s products, triggering synchronized actions across CRM and Martech stacks.
- Cross-Functional Diplomacy: Act as a strategic partner to the SVP of Engineering, the VP of Marketing, and the Directors of RevOps and Sales, ensuring that automated "growth plays" are technically sound, brand-aligned, and operationally supported.
- The "Data Clearinghouse" Engine: Operationalize the network effect by creating systems that increase product exposure across property portfolios and partner platforms.
- Technical Governance: Partner with Engineering to ensure all GTM automation adheres to Engrain’s data security and API standards, avoiding "shadow IT" in favor of scalable infrastructure.
- Strategic Documentation: Build and maintain the "Map of the Revenue Engine," ensuring all automated logic is documented for future scale.
- Eliminate Growth Friction: Audit the current buyer’s journey to find where prospects "get stuck." You will build the automated "fast-track" systems—like frictionless CTAs and instant data provisioning—to shorten customer time-to-value.
- Act as a Strategic Internal Consultant: Collaborate with VP-level stakeholders to understand their bottlenecks and build the automated "plumbing" that helps them hit their targets without adding more manual headcount.
What you offer us...
- 6+ years in Growth Engineering, Revenue Operations, or Technical Product Management within a SaaS or Infrastructure environment.
- Expert-level knowledge of automation layers and AI orchestration. You should be comfortable discussing data models one hour and GTM strategy the next.
- Proven experience operating as an IC in a high-growth environment, ideally having built systems that were later handed off to expanding leadership teams.
- Experience in real estate tech is a plus, but a "systems-first" mentality from other complex B2B industries is highly valued.
- You don't just "run campaigns"; you build scalable systems. You prioritize "plumbing" and infrastructure over manual workarounds.
- Deep expertise in API-driven ecosystems, integration platforms (Make/Zapier), and CRM architecture (HubSpot/Salesforce).
- Experience building automation workflows that leverage AI agents to process behavioral or ecosystem signals into actionable triggers.
- The ability to influence strong leaders across Marketing, Sales, and Product, translating technical automation into commercial value.
- As a direct report to the CEO, you are comfortable setting your own roadmap, debugging your own systems, and proving ROI through data.
