Program Director
Description

The Program Director is responsible for overall contract performance, staff supervision, and daily operations of a 24/7 monitoring and support program serving homeless Veterans in a transitional tiny shelter community. This role ensures compliance with VA requirements, maintains service quality, and oversees all personnel and reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall program management and oversight 
  • Supervise Lead Monitors and Monitor staff across all shifts 
  • Ensure 24/7 operational coverage and staffing 
  • Serve as primary point of contact with VA COR and stakeholders 
  • Oversee: 
    • Daily Activity Reports (DARs) 
    • Incident reporting 
    • Staffing schedules and coverage 
  • Ensure compliance with: 
    • VA policies 
    • Safety protocols 
    • Contract requirements 
  • Conduct staff training, performance evaluations, and coaching 
  • Monitor quality assurance and implement improvements 
  • Manage conflict resolution and escalation issues
Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) 
  • 3–5+ years of program or operations management 
  • Experience supervising staff in 24/7 environments 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills 
  • Experience with homeless services, social services, or security operations (preferred)
