We are seeking an Ad Operations Specialist to join our talented media team. Work in a fun, fast paced environment and gain experience and training in all aspects of digital media while defining your career path within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and launch new online media programs including traditional web ads, mobile ads, video ads, and custom ad solutions. Help us and our clients bring media campaigns to life.
- Troubleshoot online ad delivery and performance issues.
- Provide exceptional support to our Account Management team to ensure successful campaign setup and delivery
- Act as internal point of contact for Sales/Account Management, Product, Marketing, Editorial, and Finance teams.
- Manage internal promotions to increase site traffic to paid and core initiatives. Help us maximize our users’ experiences.
- Assist media and custom teams with external marketing and promotions to expand our audience
- Liaise with Product & Development teams on new products and tests; this role offers the opportunity for active input into developing and updating internal products.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and support for the Paid Media team as needed.
- We’d love it if you are familiar with Google Ad Manager (DFP/GAM), or other ad serving technology, but if you are willing to learn, we are willing to teach you.
- We’d also really like it if you understand a bit of HTML and JavaScript, but again, if you are willing to learn, we are willing to teach you.
- Professional attitude with the willingness to try and learn new things.
- Type A-ish personality: you care about details and getting it right.
- Logic-focused: If you like logic puzzles and problem solving within rules-based systems, this could be the role for you.
- Patience. There will always be demanding clients and fire drills, but hey, it’s just a part of the job and we’ll get through it together.
