We are currently seeking a Director of Safety and Security for our Apopka, Florida location!


The Safety & Security Director is responsible for the overall success of the SAFE product division, owning product direction, market impact, and customer outcomes. This role serves as both the strategic leader of the SAFE product line and the organization’s subject matter expert in K–12 safety and security. The Director ensures SAFE solutions evolve to meet real-world safety demands, align with legislation, and are effectively positioned in the market.  

 

Core Objectives 

  • Drive growth in SAFE product adoption, revenue, and market impact. 
  • Align product development with real-world safety needs and legislation. 
  • Strengthen collaboration across Product, Sales, Engineering, and Customer Success.
  •  Establish SAFE as a trusted, high-impact safety solution in K–12 environments. 


Duties include:

 

Product Ownership & Strategy 

  • Lead SAFE product roadmap and priorities. 
  • Translate field and customer feedback into product improvements. 
  • Partner with engineering and product teams. 

2. Sales & Market Enablement 

  • Act as SME in safety-related sales opportunities. 
  • Support positioning and messaging of SAFE solutions. 
  •  Deliver targeted training when needed. 

3. Customer & Field Engagement 

  •  Engage with districts and stakeholders. 
  •  Gather real-world feedback and insights. 
  •  Support pilot programs and post-install reviews. 
Requirements
  • Law Enforcement: 5–10 years 
  • K–12 Safety  5-10 Years
  • Willing to travel (up to 10%) 
  • District-Level Role:  Added Benefit
  • Experience working directly for a school district safety/security department
  • Experience collaborating with district leadership (Superintendents, Safety Directors, Facilities)
  • Exposure to safety technology, security systems, or product-related environments
  • Experience with training, presentations, or public speaking
  • Familiarity with state or federal school safety legislation

Compensation and Benefits:


Wages Negotiable based on skill level and experience.
