Service Technician- Demo Coordinator
Description

The Demo Coordinator is an offset responsibility within the Service Department, supporting the management, maintenance, and execution of the bike and ski demo fleet. This role works cross-functionally with Service, Buying, and Marketing teams to ensure demo equipment is well-maintained, properly merchandised, and effectively utilized to drive customer experience and sales.

Additional Areas of Responsibility

  • Bike/Ski Demo Coordination: Work with Department Manager, Department Head, and Buyer to ensure the demo fleet is appropriately stocked, seasonally relevant, and aligned with sales goals. Support end-of-season sell-off of demo equipment.
  • Fleet Build & Maintenance Scheduling: Coordinate with Service Managers to schedule builds, mounts, and ongoing maintenance of demo equipment within the existing service workflow. Ensure demo readiness does not disrupt customer service timelines.
  • Inventory Management & Auditing: Conduct weekly audits of demo fleet inventory to assess availability, condition, and maintenance needs. Maintain accurate records of all demo equipment
  • Maintenance Tracking & Parts Coordination: Update and maintain demo equipment service records. Identify repair needs proactively and ensure all necessary parts are ordered and available to complete maintenance work.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with Marketing to support planning and execution of bike and snowsports events, demos, and activations. Ensure appropriate equipment is available, prepped, and tracked for these events.
  • BRM & Asset Management: Maintain BRM inventory assets and support training of staff on BRM procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in demo tracking and utilization.

  • Work effectively independently, within the service team, and across departments
  • Communicate clearly and promptly via email and in person
  • Maintain a professional, respectful approach in all interactions
  • Be available for holidays, off-site events, and at least one weekend day per week
  • Arrive on time and prepared for scheduled shifts
  • Check email daily and respond as needed to support demo operations


Requirements
  • Passion for cycling and snow sports
  • Self-motivated learner with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working on bikes and/or skis in a shop environment
  • Solid understanding of bicycle and/or ski systems and technologies
  • Strong customer service skills and willingness to support the sales floor as needed
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Salary Description
$35,360-$40,000
