Seasonal Pool Bartender – Westwood Country Club

The Seasonal Pool Bartender plays a key role in delivering an exceptional member experience at Westwood Country Club’s poolside bar. 

Our pool bar offers a full selection of beer, wine, and cocktails ranging from refreshing classics to seasonal specialties. This space serves both seated guests and poolside service, and frequently hosts busy weekends, social gatherings, and special events throughout the season.

Position Overview

It is everyone’s responsibility at Westwood to serve our members and their guests. Specifically, the Pool Bartender is responsible for managing the bar area while delivering attentive, high-quality service to both seated guests and poolside members.

You will:

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, and wine for members and guests 
• Take food and beverage orders from members seated at the bar 
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times 
• Prepare bar ingredients including garnishes, fresh juices, and simple syrups 
• Maintain overall bar presentation 
• Monitor inventory and restock as needed throughout service 
• Create a welcoming, upbeat, and professional atmosphere for members and guests 
• Uphold Westwood service standards and contribute to a positive team environment 

Qualifications & Requirements

• Prior bartending experience preferred, especially in high-volume or service bar settings 
• Strong communication skills with the ability to describe menu items and beverages clearly 
• Professional appearance with a commitment to cleanliness and organization 
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outdoor environment 
• Reliable attendance and punctuality 
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 20 pounds 
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Flexible schedule and availability to work weekend
