About the Role

The H.U.F. Center is seeking a confident, mission-driven Program Manager to lead our Psychosocial Day Support Program serving adults with mental health and co-occurring disorders.


This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving strong clinical outcomes. You’ll lead from the front - supporting your team, maintaining structure, and ensuring high-quality care.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead daily program operations and supervise on-site staff
  • Provide coaching, accountability, and performance oversight
  • Ensure documentation and services meet DBHDS standards
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of client records
  • Support crisis intervention and guide staff during high-acuity situations
  • Maintain a small caseload and facilitate groups as needed
  • Partner with leadership to improve program performance and outcomes

Qualifications

  • Active Virginia QMHP certification (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of mental health experience
  • Supervisory experience required
  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license
