OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Manufacturing Products, Processes & Production Efficiency
- Design, develop, and improve products and manufacturing processes to support product enhancements, engineering changes, and new product introductions.
- Analyze and improve cycle times, labor content, material flow, and equipment utilization to increase throughput and reduce manufacturing constraints.
- Identify and eliminate waste through the application of Lean manufacturing principles, standard work, and process optimization.
- Develop and implement fixtures, tooling, workstations, layouts, and equipment that improve safety, quality, and efficiency while controlling cost.
- Support line balancing and workflow improvements to reduce bottlenecks and excess material handling.
2. Production Documentation
- Ensure bills of material, manufacturing drawings, routings, and work instructions are accurate, current, and support standard work and repeatable cycle times.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Planning, and Production to ensure documentation aligns with actual manufacturing processes and capacity assumptions.
3. Continuous Improvement
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Use data, root-cause analysis, and structured problem-solving methods to drive sustainable improvements.
- Support corrective actions related to scrap, rework, inefficiencies, and process variation.
4. Technical Training
- Work closely with Manufacturing and Operations to develop, coordinate, implement, and document technical training related to new processes, equipment, standard work, and process changes.
- Ensure training supports consistent execution of manufacturing processes and efficiency improvements.
5. Global Product Consistency
- Ensure products manufactured across multiple facilities maintain appropriate uniformity in processes, quality, and performance.
- Support standardization of manufacturing methods where applicable.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications and Required Experience):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Discipline- Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role within a production environment preferred.
- Experience applying Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or process optimization methodologies preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Vision – Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, inspection involving small defects or welds, use and operation of machines, use of measurement devices, etc.
- Walking – Moving about on foot to travel and accomplish tasks, including long distances or site to site.
- Sitting – The body is supported by buttocks and back and employee needs to remain seated for extended periods of time.
