What You’ll Do

You will support a high-impact Medicaid initiative for the State of Indiana, playing a key role in keeping the project running effectively. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants to build a strong foundation in project operations, financial tracking, and team coordination. You’ll work alongside experienced consultants and client stakeholders, gaining exposure to large-scale data and analytics work in the public sector. 


We’re looking for someone who is proactive, accountable, and eager to learn—someone who doesn’t just complete tasks but helps drive the work forward. 

  • Provide Jira administration and ongoing maintenance to support project execution  
  • Create, manage, and close out tasks to ensure work is tracked and delivered efficiently  
  • Monitor project budgets and proactively flag risks, trends, or inconsistencies  
  • Support invoice analysis and financial tracking activities  
  • Ensure accurate and timely time entry by coordinating with team members  
  • Follow up and communicate with consultants and stakeholders to keep workstreams on track  
  • Support overall project coordination and operational effectiveness  
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency  
Requirements
  •  3+ years of experience in operations or project management  
  • Experience with project coordination and budget tracking/management  
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel  
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail  
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams  
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment  

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Jira or similar tools  
  • Prior work in government, healthcare, or data/analytics projects
