We are building a best in class global finance function to support that growth and are looking for a Global Finance Director to play a key leadership role in that journey.
This is a highly visible leadership role reporting directly to the CFO, with responsibility for financial control across a growing international organization.
You will lead the evolution of our global accounting function, helping to scale processes, systems, and controls while supporting a business that is actively expanding through acquisitions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building structure, leading teams, and working in a fast paced, multi entity, global environment.
What You’ll Do
Own Global Financial Control
- Lead financial reporting and accounting operations across all global entities
- Ensure strong internal controls, audit readiness, and accurate financial data
- Standardize and enforce global accounting policies and procedures
- Act as the escalation point for complex accounting and reporting issues
Lead and Develop the Team
- Manage and mentor an international accounting team
- Set clear expectations and drive accountability and performance
- Build a collaborative, high performing “one team” culture across regions
Drive Technical Accounting and Compliance
- Oversee IFRS and US GAAP compliance across all entities
- Partner with external auditors and tax advisors globally
- Ensure strong transfer pricing and tax compliance practices
Oversee Cash and Liquidity
- Provide visibility into global cash positions and cash flow
- Support forecasting and liquidity planning with the CFO
- Manage banking relationships and intercompany funding structures
Support M&A and Integration
- Lead financial due diligence for acquisitions
- Oversee onboarding of acquired businesses into Movora’s finance structure
- Ensure smooth integration and alignment with global standards
Improve Systems and Processes
- Drive automation and process improvements across the finance function
- Partner with internal teams on ERP and system optimization
- Leverage data and AI tools to improve efficiency and reporting quality

- CPA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification – active and in good standing
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role with direct reports
- Proven track record of owning financial control across a multi-entity, multinational organization
- Deep technical accounting knowledge – IFRS and US GAAP, with the ability to navigate complex accounting questions confidently
- Proven experience leading teams and bringing structure to complex or fast-moving environments
- Background in tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions (corporate tax, transfer pricing, sales tax)
- Hands-on experience with group consolidation processes and reporting
- Proficiency with mid-market ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or comparable)
- Track record of supporting or leading M&A due diligence and post-acquisition integration
- Ability to operate with autonomy, set high standards, and drive accountability across geographically dispersed teams
- Prior experience in a veterinary, medtech, life sciences, or similarly regulated product company
- Background in an M&A-active, acquisition-driven group environment
- Familiarity with Avalara or comparable automated tax compliance platforms
- Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc.) to improve accounting and reporting workflows
