POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and commercial Product Manager - Tourism to lead the sourcing, negotiation, and management of supplier contracts across Latin America. This position will oversee the Latin America region and be responsible for securing competitive agreements with hotels, transportation providers, and Destination Management Companies (DMCs) that deliver outstanding value and quality for the multiple travel brands within our global portfolio.
This is a pivotal role in driving our regional growth strategy, ensuring our products are well-positioned to deliver exceptional travel experiences while meeting financial and operational targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supplier Contracting & Procurement
- Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with hotels, transport providers, and DMCs across key Latin destinations.
- Secure competitive rates, favorable terms, and exclusive deals aligned with brand positioning and margin objectives.
- Conduct annual rate negotiations and oversee the contracting cycle across multiple brands and product tiers from Youth to Luxury.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, legal requirements, and sustainability policies in all supplier agreements.
Supplier Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers to drive long-term value, quality, and innovation.
- Resolve supplier performance issues, ensuring service delivery meets agreed SLAs and guest satisfaction levels.
- Identify and onboard new suppliers to expand destination offerings and enhance product differentiation.
Market & Commercial Strategy
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and regional developments to inform contracting strategy.
- Collaborate with brand, product, and finance teams to align contracting priorities with customer demand and commercial goals.
- Provide insights on new destinations, experiences, and partnership opportunities.
Operational & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product, sales, and operations teams to ensure accurate product data, smooth implementation, and competitive pricing.
- Support marketing and product launches with timely supplier content and negotiated offers.
- Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to manage contract documentation and risks.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE
- Minimum 3 years of experience in contracting, procurement, or product management within the travel or hospitality industry in the Latin American region.
- Proven track record of negotiating supplier contracts across multiple Latin markets.
- Strong understanding of hotel and ground services operations, pricing structures, and regional market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Commercially astute with strong analytical and financial acumen.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish, spoken and written.
TRAVEL & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- This role is fully remote and based in Peru with preference of Cusco as the primary location although Lima would also be acceptable.
- This role will require extensive international travel throughout the Latin America region and occasional travel to the office in Costa Mesa, CA (e.g., approximately four times a year).
- This is a full-time contract position with The Travel Corporation.
