Description
Magnolia Companies is seeking a Residential HVAC Install Field Supervisor to support and lead our Residential Services division. This role is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day management of installation operations, with a strong focus on implementing and maintaining the Nexstar Service System.
The ideal candidate will lead by example, performing at a high level as a technician while developing, coaching, and mentoring HVAC Install Technicians and apprentices. This individual will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, quality workmanship, and exceptional customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform the duties of an HVAC Install Technician while serving as a field leader
• Train, coach, and mentor HVAC Install Technicians and apprentices
• Lead by example in daily, weekly, and monthly performance expectations
• Ensure proper implementation of the Nexstar Service System
• Support technicians in planning, coordinating, and executing installation jobs
• Maintain and enhance customer relationships through quality service delivery
• Review payroll and prior day performance metrics
• Conduct observational and performance-based coaching in the field
• Organize and direct field operations to meet company objectives
• Coordinate and establish ongoing training programs for team members
Qualifications
• 5–10 years of HVAC installation field experience
• 0–1 year of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Journeyman HVAC License required
• Journeyman Gas Fitter License required
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to analyze performance and provide constructive coaching
• Intermediate administrative and reporting capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to manage field personnel and operations effectively
