Job Summary
Improve product stability and customer experience proactively as part of new releases and reactively in response to production issues with a very heavy bias towards creating, maintaining, executing a suite of automated test scripts. Ensure automated test scripts are re-usable across regression testing, functional testing, production monitoring, and performance/load testing and on various browsers and devices. Support PCS’s business growth by intelligently using company selected tools and technologies to keep costs down while preserving the integrity of the application(s) to increase profits.
Job Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the test automation strategy within the organization.
- Assist with the design, creation, and maintenance of the automation test infrastructure across multiple product lines using the test automation tool mabl. Support, maintain, and enhance all test automation activities during the system design life cycle.
- Review manual test cases for the application under test and provide feedback on appropriateness for automation. Assist with manual testing, executing manual test cases and scripts for applications being developed.
- Create and maintain test plans/scripts in compliance with defined QA standards and methodologies using the project management software tool JIRA.
- Identify and analyze the existence of any defects within the product for escalation and assist developers to validate and remediate all defects.
- Identify process bottlenecks and suggest actions for improvement.
- Recommend improvements to the application to enhance the user experience and improve customer satisfaction. Liaise with Software and Product Development Teams to identify requirements and solve problems
- Must have at least 5 years of in-depth hands-on experience with software automation testing tools, preferably mabl, Selenium , Postman and JMeter or any other like technologies within an Agile environment
- Must possess a strong programming background using but not limited to SQL, JavaScript, HTML, JSON, and CSS
- Experience with Vue.js, Vuex, Vuetify, .aspx, MVC framework, Salesforce and Azure DevOps a plus
- Background in automate test script creation and re-use across regression testing, functional testing, production monitoring, and performance/load testing
- Some knowledge of the following financial technologies is a plus: core banking and/or payment systems, record keeping systems, and personal financial management
- B.S. in Computer Science or related field
- Demonstrates a sense of ownership and pride in their performance and its impact on the organization’s success
- Exceptional attention to detail as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team player with good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Must be able to work a hybrid schedule: 2 days per week in our Philadelphia office location.

Compensation Information
The average salary for this position is expected to be between $85,000 and $110,000 however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We do not anticipate candidates to be paid at the top of the range however, from time to time, it may occur on a case-by-case basis.
