Job Description:
The Account Management Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting and scaling Hissho’s account management and growth initiatives. This position goes beyond traditional administrative support by acting as a strategic and operational partner to the Account Management team.
This role is responsible for driving organization, data integrity, communication excellence, and process consistency across the department while also supporting growth initiatives, business insights, and cross-functional alignment.
This is a high-visibility role designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building structure, and wants to grow into broader account management or strategic roles over time.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Administrative & Executive Support
· Provides high-level support to the Director of Account Management.
· Assists with ad hoc strategic projects.
Account & Data Management
· Owns data accuracy and integrity across Salesforce, SAP, and retailer portals.
· Manages account setup, updates, pricing changes, and item maintenance.
· Proactively identifies and resolves data discrepancies across systems.
· Maintains organized trackers and documentation for account activity and initiatives.
Business Insights & Growth
· Analyzes account performance data, trends, and field feedback to identify opportunities and risks.
· Supports Account Managers in prioritizing initiatives based on data and retailer needs.
· Assists in translating insights into clear summaries, recommendations, and action plans.
· Contributes to growth-related projects, including new item launches, promotional tracking, and retailer expansion support.
Renewal & Account Planning Support
· Assists Account Managers in building and updating executive account summaries (performance, risks, opportunities, next steps).
· Coordinates with Legal, Finance, Ops, and Leadership to ensure alignment and timely execution on key projects.
· Supports long-term account planning and readiness for business reviews.
· Oversees Tradeshow coordination and logistics (IDDBA, Sproutscon, TFM Show, etc.).
Sales Operations & Process Development
· Supports pipeline tracking, account prioritization, and opportunity management.
· Helps build and improve workflows, SOPs, and reporting structures to scale the Account Management function.
· Identifies inefficiencies and recommends process improvements.
Communication & Relationship Enablement
· Owns and coordinates communication follow-ups, meeting logistics, and internal alignment.
· Ensures all written communication (emails, recaps, summaries) is polished, clear, and professional.
Presentation & Storytelling Support
· Assists Account Management in building and refining PowerPoint presentations for business reviews, retailer meetings, and internal updates.
· Helps develop clear, compelling narratives around account performance and growth opportunities.
Meeting & Cross-Functional Coordination
· Leads coordination of recurring Monday meetings and other cross functional meetings.
· Facilitates communication across Account Management, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Compliance.
· Ensures accountability on action items and deadlines.
Requirements:
- 2–5+ years of experience in account management support, sales operations, business coordination, or similar roles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Experience with Salesforce, SAP, or similar CRM/ERP systems preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset with comfort working with data and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally.
- Experience in retail, foodservice, CPG, or franchise environments is a plus.
