Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Procurement and Program Director partners cross-functionally to develop and execute supply chain strategies that support new product launches, promotions, and strategic partnerships. This role leads supplier identification, negotiation, and contracting, ensuring alignment with cost, quality, and service expectations.
The Director is accountable for maintaining uninterrupted product flow, delivering data-driven insights through analytical reporting, and building strong, strategic relationships with key partners. Additionally, this role serves as a critical leader in the NetSuite implementation, overseeing system integration across platforms and acting as the primary stakeholder for ongoing ERP governance and optimization.
- Partner cross-functionally to develop and execute supply chain strategies supporting Dan-O’s new product launches, promotions, partnerships, and customer initiatives.
- Lead supplier identification, negotiation, and implementation of supply agreements, including formula-based pricing, freight, and production components, while upholding Dan-O’s quality standards.
- Align and finalize supply projections in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Operations; communicate production requirements across the supplier network.
- Build and manage end-to-end timelines for new product introductions and program rollouts.
- Drive continuous improvement across the supply chain, leveraging innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain product quality.
- Develop and execute contingency plans to ensure uninterrupted product supply across the distribution network.
- Provide clear direction to Operations on implementation and exit strategies for product and program initiatives.
- Deliver data-driven insights through reports, analytics, and performance metrics to evaluate promotions and support forecasting.
- Actively participate in S&OP and commercialization processes, providing key metrics, reporting, and analysis.
- Support day-to-day operations and order management as needed to ensure service continuity.
- Monitor supplier and co-manufacturer performance against service levels and contractual requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including suppliers, co-manufacturers, and cross-functional teams.
- Partner with Quality to ensure supplier and co-manufacturer compliance with regulatory requirements, food safety standards, and company policies.
- Serve as a critical leader in the NetSuite implementation, overseeing system integration and acting as the primary stakeholder for ongoing ERP governance and optimization.
