Job Description

BeVera Solutions is seeking a Platform, Cloud, and Cybersecurity Engineer to support cloud-hosted website operations, platform administration, security documentation, vulnerability management, and compliance activities for a federal public health web system. This role will support platform stability, monitoring, incident response coordination, cloud transition activities, and the security and authorization requirements associated with operating a GOCO/GOGO federal system. The position reflects the RFI’s requirements for cloud-hosted platform support, ATO/FedRAMP activities, continuous monitoring, vulnerability remediation, and operational/security documentation. This position is contingent upon successful contract award to BeVera Solutions, LLC.


NOTE: Position Contingent upon award of contract. This role is part of a pre-award candidate search for an upcoming federal government contract. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Support platform operations, monitoring, incident management, and release/deployment coordination.
  • Participate in cloud transition, lift-and-shift, and configuration documentation activities.
  • Prepare and maintain operational, administrative, and technical guides for hosted web applications.
  • Support A&A/FedRAMP-related artifacts including SSP, SAR, POA&M, contingency planning, and related documentation.
  • Coordinate vulnerability management, patching, security findings tracking, and remediation support.
  • Support annual assessments, penetration testing coordination, and continuous monitoring activities.
  • Help maintain compliance with HHS/OASH security, privacy, encryption, training, and records-management requirements.
  • Coordinate with government cloud engineers, ISSO personnel, and technical stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, cloud engineering, information systems, computer science, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in cloud operations, platform engineering, cybersecurity compliance, or federal system support.
  • Experience supporting security documentation and assessment activities for federal systems.
  • Experience with vulnerability remediation, configuration management, incident response support, and secure operations.
  • Familiarity with NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP, ATO/A&A, and federal information security practices.
  • Experience working in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting HHS or other federal civilian agency systems.
  • Experience with Drupal platform hosting or web application support in cloud environments.
  • Relevant certifications such as Security+, CISSP, AWS/Azure security, or similar.
