Description

As an MRP Sales Estimator & Training Specialist is a hybrid role designed for a dynamic individual who excels in sales, technical estimating, and team development. This position is responsible for generating new MRP business, creating accurate estimates for residential and commercial restoration or construction projects, and providing field and virtual training to ensure team success and operational consistency.

The ideal candidate brings a combination of sales, estimating expertise, and a passion for teaching and mentoring others. This person will be a critical player in scaling our workforce quality, boosting performance, and delivering exceptional customer experience.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Sales & Estimating:

  • Engage with homeowners or property managers to assess project scope and build trust during the sales process
  • Perform thorough inspections and develop accurate estimates using Xactimate or other relevant software
  • Present estimates and proposals to clients, ensuring clear understanding of project scope, cost, and timelines
  • Collaborate with internal teams to transition projects from sale to production
  • Track and report sales pipeline activity; meet or exceed monthly revenue goals

Training & Development:

  • Train new hires and existing team members on company estimating standards, technology platforms, and customer service expectations
  • Create and maintain training content, including job aids, videos, and SOPs
  • Provide field coaching and ride-alongs to evaluate and support estimators and sales reps
  • Conduct workshops and one-on-one mentoring for process improvement and skill-building
  • Identify performance gaps and recommend strategies to improve team efficiency and accuracy

Leadership & Cross-Functional Support:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in estimating and customer communication
  • Help implement best practices across teams, including Blaze utilization and documentation standards
  • Assist in training and developing future trainers or field leaders with an emphasis on steep and high training
  • Maintain knowledge of state and local regulations, permitting, and licensing requirements relevant to job execution

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS


Education: Associate's degree preferred; High school diploma with relevant experience required


Experience:

· 10+ years customer service experience, preferably in construction or home services

· 10+ years experience with Xactimate/Symbility systems and project management tools


Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Customer Contact Task Completion

· Target: 98% (3 days from approval)

· Frequency: Daily/Weekly/Monthly 

· Tracking:

o Task completion percentage

o Days to complete task

o Customer contact verification


Commission Incentive


Commission Rate (Based on Total Contract Value)


The Representative will earn a commission on the total contract value (TCV) of successfully closed and fully executed contracts per commission structure for Pure and Self Generated Leads


Commission Payout Schedule

50% of commission paid at contract signing (once the customer 50% deposit is received).

50% paid upon project completion and final payment received from the client.


WORKING CONDITIONS

· Hours: Daily 9 am -5 pm CST

· Location: to be performed at any Elite office location

Salary Description
$65,000.00 - 80,000.00
