Job Description:

Estimating

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and military specifications
  • Gather, evaluate, and analyze data (using current and historical data) to develop quotes for customers
  • Negotiate pricing and terms of conditions with customers
  • Manage and coordinate the work of data entry personnel
  • Write and develop multi-year, multi-million dollar proposals for our customers

Contract Administration

  • Monitor on-going contracts to assure conformance with the terms and conditions, on-time payment, and ensure completion of requirements
  • Serve as primary customer interface for all contractual issues
  • Ensure orders are processed quickly and accurately
  • Ensure customer requests are acted upon quickly
  • Act as a liaison between customers and production
  • Travel and meet with customers to negotiate future and existing contracts
  • Attend supplier conferences as InterConnect's representative
  • Calculate and submit pricing for engineering changes


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Above average computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to create and maintain a positive work environment
  • Ability to provide high quality customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to write large, detailed proposals
  • Above average writing skills
  • Above average math skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time (multi-task)
