Assembler
Description

Overview:

The Assembler performs standard assembly tasks with minimal supervision and demonstrates consistent compliance with safety, quality, and documentation requirements.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Production Support

  • Perform routine assembly operations independently following work instructions and drawings.
  • Use hand tools and basic equipment safely and correctly.
  • Support daily production activities as assigned.
  • Assist with equipment setup and basic troubleshooting.

Quality & Safety

  • Follow safety protocols and quality requirements.
  • Adhere to work instructions and quality standards, including AS9100 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 where applicable.
  • Identify and report defects or process issues.

Documentation

  • Accurately complete required production and quality documentation.

Marginal Responsibilities

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education, Knowledge, & Skills Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Demonstrate competency in standard assembly tasks.
  • Basic measurement and inspection skills.

Work Requirements/Condition

  • Work performed in a manufacturing and production environment.
  • Extended periods of standing may be required; seating is available at all workstations.
  • Must be able to lift and move materials up to 25 pounds independently.
  • Frequent use of hands for operating equipment, computers, and hand tools.
  • May require bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.
  • Required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses in designated areas.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for this role due to federal regulations.
