McAlister Institute is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Program Manager to oversee the operations of our East County Teen Recovery Center (ETRC). The Program Manager will report directly to the Director of Outpatient Services and be responsible for the supervision, coordination, and effective operation of the teen center. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with extensive knowledge of addiction treatment services, staff management, contract compliance, and committed to supporting youth in recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold and promote the mission, philosophy, values, and direction of McAlister Institute.
- Manage program operations by conducting monthly program peer reviews, ensure staff coverage, and support all fundraising activities.
- Ensure staff meet all program requirements for client services, including trainings, communication, supervision, documentation, and professional conduct.
- Maintain a deep understanding of program contracts, including County contracts, budget, and terms.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with County Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs).
- Complete and submit end-of-month reports in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with County and State standards and implement corrective plans where necessary.
- Serve as liaison between the program and corporate office.
- Stay informed of client incidents and ensure appropriate reporting.
- Supervise and mentor staff, ensuring compliance with program requirements and job descriptions.
- Conduct quarterly staff meetings to review training plans and performance.
- Maintain accurate payroll and staff time-off documentation.
- Supervisory and management experience required.
- State of California Alcohol and Drug (AOD) certification required.
- Two years of experience in the field OR a Bachelor’s degree in human services field with at least one year of experience working with addiction-related issues (AOD certification still required).
- Experience working with multi-cultural populations and understanding diverse treatment and recovery needs.
- Strong knowledge of the judicial system and community resources preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to remain current in public health, emergency services, and other required training.
- Adherence to all agency policies, including dress code, certification/training requirements, and code of conduct.
- Must be willing to participate in on-going professional development and stay updated on industry standards.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings, including references, education verification, a criminal background check with at least one year clear of probation or parole, a drug test, and a TB test.
