Position Summary


We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Commercial Account Specialist to support and expand our commercial and industrial coatings business. This role combines sales, account management, and technical understanding of coatings products. You will serve as the primary contact for commercial clients; building relationships, identifying solutions, and ensuring customers receive the highest level of service and support.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across commercial and industrial markets through prospecting, networking, and relationship-building.
  • Manage and grow existing client accounts, serving as a trusted partner and primary point of contact for product support, service needs, and sales inquiries.
  • Conduct needs assessments to understand customer requirements and recommend tailored coatings solutions.
  • Work closely with internal teams; sales, marketing, operations, and technical support—to deliver seamless service and value-added solutions.
  • Coordinate and follow up on service requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution of product or application concerns.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to highlight the benefits of our      coatings systems.
  • Perform regular business reviews with clients to assess satisfaction, identify opportunities for growth, and strengthen the      partnership.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market changes to better anticipate customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, forecasts, and service requests using CRM tools.
Requirements
  • Proven success in sales or account management, preferably within the coatings, industrial supply, or related technical      industry.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial coatings, including application methods and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a solutions-driven mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while working both independently and      collaboratively.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Positive attitude, resilience, and a customer-first approach.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for client visits, training, or industry events as needed.
  • Adaptability to evolving market demands and comfort with new technologies and tools.
  • Paint and Body Experience is preferred.
