We are looking for a Director of Apartment Operations to join our leadership team.
 

The Director of Apartment Operations is a key leader who interacts with all facets of the division. Working alongside the Director of Leasing, he/she leads the team of Property Managers (currently 10) and is responsible for the operational and financial performance of the apartment management segment of the business. Key components of this role are:

  • Oversight and coaching of Property Managers to ensure operational and financial performance goals of the properties are met
  • Managing client/owner and tenant relationships
  • Taking the lead in the successful hiring, coaching and oversight of Property Managers
  • Leading the onboarding of new properties or customers in conjunction with other leaders
  • Coordinate efforts with key corporate teams to include Marketing, Human Resources, Property Accounting and Senior Leadership
  • Review, update and lead the training efforts for the division (F3 University)
  • Participate in consulting and new business development efforts
Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong leadership skills and the ability to lead a regional team, a minimum of 10 years in the property management industry, relationship building and customer service experience. 

 

As a leader, the capability to adapt to a fast-paced business environment is a key to success. Strong budgeting skills and financial acumen with the ability to analyze financials, revenue streams and overall budgeting and recommend improvements or areas for opportunity is a must. We seek a professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills, working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products and property management software. ARM certification, bachelor’s degree and Yardi software experience preferred but not required.


This role requires primarily day travel to the Milwaukee, Madison and Green Bay markets.
