Your Purpose as a Parts Associate:

  • Inventory Control & Data Integrity: Manage incoming inventory by ensuring physical stock matches digital records. Utilize Inventory Management Systems (IMS) to track stock levels, process returns, and maintain an organized warehouse.
  • Digital Pricing & Cataloging: Accurately price parts and accessories using Electronic Parts Catalogs (EPC) and manufacturer-specific software. Ensure the internal computer system remains synchronized with current market data and manufacturer updates.
  • Transaction Management: Proficiently operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, cash drawers, and credit card processing hardware, ensuring all financial data is recorded accurately.
  • Technical Documentation: Maintain digital logs for special orders, core returns, and warranty claims, ensuring all electronic paperwork is filed according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
  • System Maintenance: Monitor and update backorder lists and shipping status through dealer portals to provide customers with real-time tracking information.
  • Meet and assist the customer in a courteous and professional manner providing them with the information they need, answer phone calls and ensuring the customer’s needs are met
  • Maintain the parts department in a clean and organized manner
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by Management
Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience required
  • Parts/warehouse/inventory management experience preferred
