Description
Student Housing Property Manager
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Property Manager to oversee daily operations of a student housing community. This role is responsible for driving occupancy, managing financial performance, leading onsite staff, and delivering an exceptional resident experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day property operations, ensuring strong financial and operational performance
- Hire, train, and manage onsite team members (leasing, maintenance, support staff)
- Drive occupancy through leasing and marketing strategies
- Manage budgets, expenses, rent collection, and financial reporting
- Oversee resident relations, conflict resolution, and retention efforts
- Coordinate maintenance, inspections, and capital improvement projects
- Plan and execute move-ins, move-outs, and annual turnover
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies
- Respond to emergencies and after-hours needs as required
Qualifications
- Property management experience preferred (student housing a plus)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of leasing, budgeting, and resident relations
- Understanding of Fair Housing and landlord/tenant laws
Schedule
- Full-time, primarily daytime hours
- Must be available for weekends, peak seasons, and emergencies

- Experience: Proven experience in property management, with a track record of successful tenant relations and property management. Student housing property management experience a plus.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise staff effectively.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with residents, staff, and property owners.
- Organization: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to manage various tasks efficiently.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in property management, real estate, or related field are a plus.
Salary Description
$55,000 - $65,000 Annually
