Director of Nursing (DON) | Behavioral Health / Psychiatric Facility

We are seeking a strong clinical leader to step into a Director of Nursing (DON) role within a behavioral health/psychiatric setting. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a patient-centered environment while leading a dedicated nursing team.

Who We’re Looking For:
We are open to:

• An experienced Director of Nursing (DON) with a background in psychiatric or behavioral health settings
  OR
• A seasoned Registered Nurse (RN) with significant psychiatric experience and proven leadership ability, such as:
  • Managing or overseeing a psych unit or wing
  • Leadership roles in inpatient or residential psych facilities
  • Charge nurse, nurse manager, or supervisor experience in behavioral health

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all nursing operations and clinical services
• Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and maintain a safe therapeutic environment

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (state-specific or ability to obtain)
• Strong background in psychiatric/behavioral health nursing
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Passion for patient-centered mental health care
