Inventory Clerk
Description

• Review requisition orders for accuracy, verify that materials and stock

from current inventory to fulfill work orders.

• Monitor inventory levels as materials, equipment and stock are issued,

transferred within an establishment or sold to the public using manual or

computer inventory systems.

• Prepare requisition orders to replenish materials, equipment and stock.

• Maintain stock rotation and dispose of and account for outdated stock.

• Reconcile physical inventories with computer counts.

• Inspect raw materials and tools upon receiving.

• Prepare corresponding documentation for inventory purposes.

• Order, track and maintain consumable items.

• Manage various third-party vendor accounts.

• Provides hands on assistance in Warehouse as needed.

• Safely load and unload contents from incoming/outgoing freight trucks

with forklift.

• Examines shipment contents and compares with records such as

manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy.

• Checks for damaged goods; verifies quantity and quality of order; verifies

items received with purchase order.

• Receives and reviews paperwork for accuracy, tags incoming

materials/supplies & supplies; stocks shelves and rotates inventory; may

receive, store, and ship flammable, explosive or caustic and hazardous

material.

• Parts receiving, data entry in ERP system & handle RMA’s.

• Track and remove expired material from shop floor and ERP system.

• Clean and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

  • Experience: 3-5 years' experience in shipping and receiving
  • Experience with handling, storing, and shipping materials or supplies

Physical requirements:

  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment as required
  • Prolonged periods or working on a computer with visual acuity sufficient to review documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Ability to bend, stoop, lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to access and navigate the facility and warehouse environment
