Front Desk Associate (Part-Time Evenings & Weekends)

We are looking for a friendly, reliable Front Desk Associate to provide exceptional customer service to members and guests. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.

This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming experience while supporting daily operations, program registrations, and member engagement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet members and guests in a warm, professional manner 
  • Answer and direct phone calls; take accurate messages 
  • Check in members and assist with general front desk inquiries 
  • Process program registrations, memberships, and payments 
  • Maintain accurate data entry and balance daily financial transactions 
  • Conduct tours for prospective members and support membership sales 
  • Support staff by answering questions, managing rosters, and promoting programs 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area 
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent, high-quality service 
  • Assist with training new front desk staff as needed 
  • Stay informed on all programs, services, and policies 
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements

 

Schedule:

  • Part-time (minimum 2–3 shifts per week) 
  • Weekday evening shifts (Monday–Thursday): 4:00pm/5:00pm – 9:00pm 
  • Weekend shifts: 
    • 7:00am – 11:00am or 
    • 11:00am – 3:00pm 
  • Must be available for 2–3 evening shifts during the week and 1–2 weekend shifts 
  • Occasional holidays required 
  • Monthly staff meeting required (first Wednesday, 5:30pm – 7:30pm; attendance expectations apply) 

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old 
  • Prior customer service and cash handling experience preferred 
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new systems 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and move throughout the facility as needed
