The Director of Marketing (CTE) leads the strategy, execution, and performance of marketing efforts that drive awareness, adoption, and growth across Stukent’s CTE product portfolio.

This role connects product value to real-world outcomes, helping teachers understand

how Stukent CTE enables students to learn, simulate, and certify their knowledge in Career & Technical education. 


This position operates as a strategic partner across Sales, Portfolio & Product - owning overall marketing strategy, lead generation, and project execution while building a scalable marketing engine that supports long-term growth.


Stukent CTE has developed proven Playbooks, Products, and People to succeed in CTE. This role is responsible for overseeing the execution of those Playbooks as it relates to marketing. At the same time, as Stukent CTE continues to expand into new CTE Clusters, this role sits at the Leadership table to build out, create, and execute on new parts of those Playbooks.

Typical Job Duties


Strategy & Growth

  •  Own and execute the marketing strategy for Stukent’s CTE offerings
  •  Partner with Revenue & Portfolio on go-to-market playbooks
  •  Drive Pipeline and Revenue through integrated campaigns
  •  Establish KPIs and accountability for outcomes
  •  Join Revenue & Portfolio to manage CTSO & other Partnership relationships


Demand Generation & Campaign Execution

  •  Drive lead generation programs through various channels including Conferences, Email Marketing, Webinars, Social Media, Website Updates, & Sales Enablement
  •  Optimize digital marketing efforts
  •  Align closely with Sales on pipeline generation
  •  Continuously test and improve performance


Positioning, Messaging, & Brand

  •  Evolve Stukent’s CTE brand and positioning for each Cluster
  •  Translate product capabilities into compelling messaging
  •  Ensure consistency across all channels


Customer, Market, & Product Insight

  •  Develop deep understanding of CTE teachers and CTE trends
  •  Develop deep understanding of Stukent CTE’s products
  •  Use insights from both of the above to inform strategy and messaging
  •  Identify expansion opportunities


Cross-Functional Leadership

  •  Partner with Product, Sales, and Customer Success
  •  Ensure alignment between marketing and revenue execution
  •  Influence roadmap through market insights


Team Leadership & Scale

  •  Build, develop, and lead a high-performing marketing team
  •  Establish scalable processes and structure
  •  Manage vendors and agencies
  •  Foster accountability and continuous improvement

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of marketing experience
  • Experience owning go-to-market strategy
  • Background in B2E, SaaS, or ed-tech preferred
  • Experience with educators or institutions is a plus
