Description
- Documentation Support: Assemble and verify loan files, select financial data, collateral related documents and searches, credit reports, and loan applications.
- System Maintenance: Accurately review and image loan documents, business financials, tax returns, and other applicable loan, credit, and customer related documents to the bank's core system following current naming conventions.
- Compliance & Administration: Ensure files comply with bank policies and regulations, manage calendars for lenders if needed, and monitor monthly reports for loan maturities, past due loans, loan fees, loan covenants, etc.
- Client and Third-Party Liaison: Serve as a contact point for borrowers and third-party vendors (including, but not limited to settlement companies, attorneys, and various collateral related search companies) to collect necessary information and respond to inquiries.
- Loan Processing: Assist with preparing loan closing packages, drafting letters, and initiating correspondence.
HOURS will average approximately 40 per week. This position is budgeted for 2,080 hours per year.
Requirements
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and related program software.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn position-related software.
- Ability to effectively use general office equipment.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational experience.
- Experience in commercial/ag banking, loan documentation, or administrative work. (preferred)
