Summary

The Accountant accurately records the accounting transactions and performs detailed account reconciliations for all general ledger companies in a timely manner as well as seek out and implement process improvement and standardization.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide support for the accounting / HR / finance departments.
  • Timesheet verification & preparation
  • Bookkeeping and general accounting
  • Creating and maintaining spreadsheets
  • Performing clerical work and interoffice support
  • Invoicing and reconciliation for varying departments
  • Maintaining and promoting excellent vendor relations
  • Assembling, sorting and tabulating codes and filing data
  • Stocking of office supplies
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and HR best practices
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Flexible and self-directed
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment
  • Strong sense of ethical professionalism while consistently maintaining discretion and confidentiality


Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
Salary Description
$25 - $35 per hour DOE
