Position Overview:

We are hiring a CNC Laser Operator / CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing and fabrication team. In this role, you will operate CNC laser cutting (plate laser) equipment to produce precise, high-quality metal components in a fast-paced production environment.

This position is ideal for candidates with experience in CNC machining, laser cutting, or manufacturing, as well as mechanically inclined individuals looking to learn and grow. On-the-job training is available.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC laser cutting machines (plate laser) safely and efficiently
• Load, run, and manage CNC programs for production jobs
• Set up and adjust machines for optimal performance
• Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance
• Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and tolerances
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and BOMs
• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts
• Handle and move materials safely (up to 50+ lbs)
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain production documentation
• Meet daily production goals and deadlines
• Maintain a clean and safe manufacturing workspace

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in CNC machining, laser cutting, or manufacturing preferred
• Mechanically inclined with willingness to learn
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and meet production targets
• Familiarity with industrial or shop environments is a plus

Physical Demands:

• Lift, carry, push, and/or pull 1-50 lbs. frequently
• Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently
• Sit, stand, and walk for 1-10 hours per day
• Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, eye protection, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing
