Job Function & Responsibilities
- Enter, clean and reconcile financial data in Excel, accounting systems and internal databases.
- Build and maintain spreadsheets using formulas, pivot tables, lookups and basic macros to reduce manual work.
- Assist with bank and balance sheet reconciliations, AP processing, contract and schedule updates and recurring monthly close tasks.
- Produce standard financial reports and organize audit support (download data, compile workpapers, label files.)
- Help document workflows and prototype simple automations (templates, macros, excel formulas)
- Knowledge of AI tools a plus
- This is a paid internship
- The applicant will have the opportunity to work at least 15 hours, but no more than 30 hours per week
Location
- Intern must be a US citizen
- Fully remote position
Education
- Completion of a minimum 1.5 years’ coursework from a 4-year university
- Working towards a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, accounting information systems, or finance
