Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Graphic Designer to support our production and screen-printing operations. This role focuses on preparing, adjusting, and optimizing artwork for high-quality print output while collaborating closely with the screen print department. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and has a strong understanding of print processes, color management, and file preparation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and finalize customer-supplied and in-house designs for screen printing production
  • Separate artwork by color and create print-ready files for multi-color jobs
  • Adjust designs to meet screen printing requirements, including trapping, halftones, and proper resolution
  • Ensure color accuracy using Pantone matching and color calibration techniques
  • Collaborate with the screen print team to ensure designs translate effectively from digital to physical prints
  • Review proofs and conduct pre-production checks to minimize errors and waste
  • Maintain organized file systems and version control for production assets
  • Collaborate with Marketing for ad campaigns and other marketing projects
  • Operate within production timelines and prioritize multiple jobs simultaneously
  • Troubleshoot artwork issues and recommend improvements for print quality and efficiency
Requirements

  

  • 2+ years of graphic design experience in a production or print environment
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop; InDesign a plus)
  • Strong understanding of screen-printing processes, including separations and ink behavior
  • Experience with vector artwork and preparing files for print production
  • Knowledge of color theory, Pantone systems, and color matching
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Salary Description
$55,000 - $70,000
