Job Title: Human Resource Solutions Specialist

Job Summary:
The Human Resource Solutions Specialist supports and executes core HR and HRIS functions for clients, serving as a key partner in delivering both tactical HR support and system-based solutions. This role collaborates with internal teams and clients to ensure HR programs and system configurations are aligned, compliant, and optimized.
The Human Resource Solutions Specialist owns a range of HR processes, system administration activities, and project-based work, while also contributing to client-facing initiatives and ongoing support. This role plays a critical part in enhancing the client experience through efficient execution, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
Job Duties:
HR Operations
- Facilitate HR processes, including handbook creation, job descriptions, compensation analysis, and compliance-related tasks.
- Conduct client interviews and partner with HR Primary to develop and finalize employee handbooks.
- Complete Forms I-9, verify documentation, conduct audits, and maintain accurate employee records.
- Reconcile benefits statements and assist with benefits-related administration.
- Support recruitment coordination, including tracking candidate status in HRIS systems and managing follow-up communications.
- Perform general administrative and clerical tasks, including preparing client and employee correspondence.
HRIS & System Support
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot HRIS platforms (including Paylocity, ADP, Paycor, and similar systems).
- Execute system configuration updates to support HR, payroll, and benefits programs.
- Perform system audits, testing, and diagnostics to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and functionality.
- Identify and resolve system errors, data discrepancies, and integration issues; escalate when necessary.
- Support system implementations and ensure successful system alignment with client HR programs.
Client & Cross-Functional Support
- Engage directly with clients as needed to support HR initiatives, system solutions, and issue resolution.
- Participate in client-facing meetings to support HR and system-related discussions, initiatives, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including HR, Sales, and Managed Services, to ensure successful outcomes and identify opportunities for additional services.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement process and system improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
- Support ongoing optimization of workflows, automations, and service delivery models.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
- At least two (2) years of related experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms such as Paylocity, ADP, Paycor, or similar systems required.
- Experience supporting system configurations, audits, or implementations preferred.
- SHRM-CP credential preferred.
- Payroll and benefits experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to move up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to participate in or facilitate video conferences and virtual meetings.
