POSITION:  Property Marketing Specialist 


JOB SUMMARY: The Property Marketing Special is a client-facing role responsible for executing and managing comprehensive marketing strategies for a portfolio of properties. This role combines account management, copywriting, social media and reputation management, and media planning to drive property performance. The Specialist serves as a primary point of contact for property owners and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless onboarding/offboarding, clear communication, and measurable marketing outcomes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Property Marketing: 

  • Provides a smooth onboarding and offboarding processes for properties, ensuring the accurate transfer of all marketing assets. 
  • Coordinates changes with Property Management / Ownership for asset takeovers. 
  • Serves as the primary contact for Property Marketing needs. 
  • Builds out and manages assigned properties in RentCafe platform.

Communication Management: 

  • Demonstrates a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and challenges within the property marketing landscape, taking initiative to drive continuous improvement across all campaigns and channels.
  • Analyzes and interprets marketing performance data, translating insights into clear, actionable reports for senior stakeholders and recommending evidence-based strategies to optimize results and support wider business objectives.
  • Directs the launch, maintenance, and optimization of listings on Internet Listing Services (Apartments.com, Zillow, etc.)and other vendors / contractors as needed.
  • Disseminates information from the Marketing Strategic plan to various partners.
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and challenges within the property marketing landscape, taking initiative to drive continuous improvement across all campaigns and channels.
  • Analyzes and interprets marketing performance data, translating insights into clear, actionable reports for senior stakeholders and recommending evidence-based strategies to optimize results and support wider business objectives.

Integration with Marketing Team: 

  • Ensures consistency between team members through the use of a project management tool and CRM software.
  • Collaborates with the Marketing Team for seamless coordination and owns various responsibilities with the Team. 
  • Curates engaging content for property and company social media accounts.

Reputation: 

  • Implements strategies for maintaining a positive online reputation. 
  • Conducts lead flow testing to enhance property marketing strategies. 
  • Optimizes lead management for improved property performance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 2-4 years of Marketing experience, Property Marketing preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Art, Communications, or other relevant area (years of experience in lieu)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Marketing processes and requirements
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proficient in Canva and Photoshop; preferred experience working in Zoho or similar CRM platforms.
  • Well-developed organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to prioritize work effectively and adjust to multiple demands
  • Self-starter with high initiative, and a focus on collaboration
  • Ability to maintain a positive approach to work challenges and seeks out process improvements

AVAILABILITY AND WORK HOURS:

  • Typically works in an office setting during regular business hours, although may work evenings or weekends if necessary.
  • Ability to access emails on weekends and be available to resolve issues as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to remain in a stationary (standing and/or seated) position for extended periods.
  • Ability to operate machinery and/or equipment that requires the constant use of hands/fingers/wrists.
  • Ability to spend more than half the time viewing computer monitors.
