Arctic Cat is now hiring a Buyer for parts, oil, garments and accessories (POGA). This Buyer is an essential team member, managing procurement, supplier performance, and ERP data to ensure that parts are available consistently, as needed. You will add value by resolving supplier issues, maintain reliable purchasing processes, and support accurate inventory and cost management. You will also coordinate bringing parts into our new Bucyrus warehouse through logistics, setup and organization of materials. You can expect to support the operational demands of both Arctic Cat and Argo as the business grows.



RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Coordinate the procurement of Argo Parts, Oil, Garments, and Accessories (POGA), to ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Maintain supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing and delivery performance.
  • Analyze demand forecasts and inventory levels to determine purchasing strategies.
  • Issue purchase orders, monitor order status, and resolve supplier delays or shortages.
  • Collaborate with Arctic Cat POGA and Argo POGA teams to ensure accurate part specifications and costing.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate the setup and organization of Argo POGA within the Arctic Cat Bucyrus warehouse
  • Maintain accurate ERP system data including pricing and lead times.
  • Coordinate purchasing and inbound logistics for Argo POGA during the warehouse setup phase, ensuring timely delivery
  • Address quality issues and facilitate corrective actions with suppliers
  • Create and maintain category part numbers/stockcodes. Track and report material master changes and updates.
Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and cost-control strategies.
