Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Fiberglass Final to ensure our products meet the highest quality and appearance standards before shipment. This role is critical in delivering a finished product that reflects craftsmanship, precision, and pride in work.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

* Perform final finishing on fiberglass products, including sanding, buffing, polishing, and detailing surfaces.

* Inspect products for defects such as scratches, air bubbles, uneven surfaces, or cosmetic imperfections.

* Repair minor defects using appropriate materials and techniques to meet quality standards.

* Ensure all parts meet company specifications, customer expectations, and quality requirements prior to shipment.

* Follow work instructions, finishing standards, and quality guidelines consistently.

* Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively (sanders, buffers, grinders, etc.).

* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in alignment with 5S/6S standards.

* Work closely with production, quality, and supervisors to address and resolve defects.

* Track and report recurring defects or issues to support continuous improvement efforts.

* Meet production goals while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.

* Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE such as respirators, gloves, and eye protection.


Education & Experience

* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

* Previous experience in fiberglass finishing, automotive body work, manufacturing, or similar hands-on roles preferred.

* Experience with sanding, polishing, or surface finishing techniques is a strong plus.

Physical Requirements

* Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

* Frequent use of hands for sanding, polishing, and detailed work.

* Ability to lift up to 40–50 pounds as needed.

* Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with dust, noise, and varying temperatures.

* Must be able to wear required PPE, including respirators if needed.
