Accounting & Bookkeeping Specialist

Delta360 is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Accounting & Bookkeeping Specialist. This role will support core accounting functions, including accounts receivable, general ledger activity, and financial reporting support. 


This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, family-owned company and work alongside a team of industry leaders. This position is based in Natchez, Mississippi, and candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to the area. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Manage full-cycle accounts receivable, including customer sales order processing 
  • Process customer invoices, statements, and receipts 
  • Review bills of lading and delivery tickets for accuracy 
  • Assist with Tax preparation by 3rd party tax preparers. 
  • Assist with month-end and period-end close processes 
  • Perform account reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy 
  • Work closely with operations and sales teams to ensure accurate and timely order completion 
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation 
  • Support process improvements and operational efficiencies 
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned 
Requirements


  • 3–5 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience 
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks and/or fully integrated Accounting Systems. 
  • Experience with accounts receivable and general ledger functions preferred 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred, but not required 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills 
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities 
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
