Position Summary
The Manufacturing Technician 1 is responsible for operating production equipment and performing the manufacturing and assembly of products using established work instructions, drawings, and guidelines. This role is responsible for maintaining established production processes, quality standards, accurate production records and accomplishing daily production schedules.
The Manufacturing Technician 1 requires proficiency in advanced assembly techniques, scheduled equipment preventative maintenance, inventory management and completing operational training on production equipment and processing finished goods.
What you’ll do
- Operate and support precision manufacturing equipment used to produce aerospace components
- Perform basic equipment setup, material handling, and monitoring of production runs
- Complete in-process inspections to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform assembly and finishing tasks per work instructions and production needs
- Accurately complete production documentation and maintain an organized work area
- Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures to meet schedule and delivery requirements
What you bring
- Assembly or manufacturing experience (1–3 years preferred)
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Comfort working in a structured manufacturing environment around industrial equipment
- Strong attention to detail and consistent focus on quality
- Ability to read and follow assembly instructions and blueprints
- Pride in workmanship and a flexible, team-first mindset
- Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and skills over time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
